What is Pulse?

Pulse is a simple, vibrant interval timer for Apple Watch and iPhone — perfect for any timed workout with repetitions. Set your exercise duration, rest period, and number of reps — then hit Start and let Pulse guide your training with haptic feedback and optional sound alerts.


How to Use

Setting Up a Session

  1. Open the app and adjust your Exercise duration (5–300 seconds)
  2. Set your Rest period (0–120 seconds)
  3. Choose the number of Repetitions (1–50)
  4. Tap Start — a 3-2-1 countdown begins before your session

During a Session

  1. The circular progress ring drains as each interval counts down
  2. Haptic feedback signals each transition between exercise and rest
  3. Tap Pause to pause, or Stop to end the session early

Completion

When all repetitions are done, a completion screen shows your session summary. Tap OK to return to setup.
